Yeah, there is no artificial 'intelligence'. Is just a learned behavior of patterns as learned by a machine. Now could a machine be programmed to 'learn' in such a way that it might make wrong choices that would be bad for whatever the computer is tied into? Sure. But it's still not 'intelligence' in any shape of form. AI is and always will be a thing of science fiction.

It's intelligence but it's an autistic form of intelligence. It doesn't involve any emotional understanding which is something human beings commonly include when we use the term about human beings. And that is why it could go horribly wrong.

The danger isn't AI it's left wing liberals who are bereft of normal common sense and now changing laws to enforce absurdities

It's not so much liberals in techie land, it's a lack of any morality. Most current application of widespread technology has morphed from useful to downright dangerous.

Putting some kind of AI in charge of us is one possible avenue with that. Self driving cars for instance, how does one relate to those and what happens when they make crazy mistakes like the bots that figured that desert pictures are nude children ?
