That sort of thing is meaningless

But a source of status. And perhaps bonding and affirmation within the group in question.

I have wondered about that..like when someone gave someone a plane...unless it was a total unknown stranger..but even then it could be the affirmation thing...

One KC told years ago was how he had a plane but no hanger. The airport told him it would be virtually impossible to get one because even if someone died they typically pass it down..He parked his plane in front of a particular hanger..a little while later, I think maybe a week? he got a call from the airport saying they were shocked but a hanger actually came open...they told him which one and he said, yep...my plane is parked in front of it...just push it back into the hanger..I thought that was really cool and in character with our Father..

Could be the truth. I've heard of people whose mortgages disappeared and the bank in question found no trace of it.

I heard that one about 25 years ago so I don't think so.
