I think potted meat is the same thing. As a kid I would have a potted meat sandwich and mayo. I didn't notice that was potted meat. I change my answer to a, c, and d. But mostly a and d.

Thanks! I like the Deviled Ham mixed with just a bit of sweet pickle relish and then some Miracle Whip spread on the bread.

D. Corned Beef Hash - We have it for breakfast once in a while - Spread it out in a non-stick pan, and let it get brown and crunchy, then scramble or fry up some Eggs and make some Toast to go with = YUMMO!
Oh, and we used to take "Potted Meat" sandwiches for lunch to school ALL the time - One of those, and one PB&J Sammich wrapped in wax paper and carried in a brown, paper bag = A cheap, but filling meal.
We also had "Deviled Ham," when money wasn't quite as tight, 'cause that was a little bit more "expensive"

Wow...I'd forgotten about that. The days before plastic sandwich bags were invented, when you used either waxed paper or empty bread bags!

Yeah. Totally forgot about the wax paper sandwich thing. I probably never would have thought about that again in my life. I assume I haven't thought about it since the last time I had one when I was a kid. lol.

When I worked in an eatery, way back when, to go orders were a mess. We took a rather thick paper plate and covered it with a long piece of waxed paper. Next, we put the hot food on the plate and wrapped the waxed paper over the top. Liquid on the waxed paper caused it to melt and made a mess. It was the best we had to work with at the time. I suppose aluminum foil would have been too costly.
I'll have to try the corned beef hash browned in butter. That sounds good!
