Have you ever heard of a Boston Cooler? Its common around Michigan, its a float made with Vernors or another type of ginger ale and it was created in Detroit, not Boston:

You can make a float with any carbonated drink. I think about anything would be good.

Sorry to be the oddball, again, but I don't like floats of ANY kind. Well, I do like the kind you ride around on in the water, but the edible kind is awful to me.

Me neither. My dad puts protein powder in root beer, I suppose that qualifies as a float. Seems disgusting to me.
