Weird isn't it? I wouldn't eat nuts as a kid but then ate them for many years. If I eat them now, it is just as a roasted snack and then not often.

Yeah, while I like nuts in cake, like Carrot Cake, Walnut Cake, Butter Pecan Cake, etc. I hate Fruit Cake - YUCK!

The Church Ladies down here who make them, put Bourbon in them - Of course, the "alcohol" burns off during the baking.

I first heard of drinking from a saucer when I was a little girl. I've also seen it on tv.
