Why was her action necessary? Was it necessary to get people to unite because that is not the same thing as being necessary to FACILITATE that change...had there been no unified boycott there would have been NO change...
And no, as I understand it, she took a seat that she could legally hold unless the bus was crowded and a white person needed or wanted it...
Unless Dr. King completely changed in character, yes we can. Those times were far more evil and racists and violent than they are now....so if he could have ever justified violent responses it would have been then.
PS, he had black people hating on him back then because he did NOT support violent response to violence..
