Anyway, I enjoyed it because I went into it expecting it to be totally different that the actual events, and I viewed it as pure FICTION. The director warned the Christian public that if they were looking for an acccurate Biblical account, they would NOT find it in this film. And I agree, the Noah character was a total jerk.
Yeah, that's how I looked at it as pure fiction. Even at that it was still boring to me.
I looked it up on Box Office Mojo though and it had a budget of $125 million and did $362,637,473 worldwide (although it only did $101,200,044 in the U.S.) so it was definitely a financial success. It also had a 77% on Rotten Tomatoes which is more than respectable there. That surprised me.

I don't really believe it was a great number of people who actually believe it was an accurate account. Most people know that Hollywood takes liberties with real life events. Don't them?

Exactly. I think the movie made them a combination of giants and fallen angels. Either way, it was goofy.
