    God and illegitimate children

What are people's opinions regarding the birth of illegitimate children. I know this is an emotional issue and don't want to cause pain as people have been born illegitimately and have adopted illegitimate children.

First let me say that every child conceived and born is instantly loved by God and God has saved many illegitimate children and they have become some of the best Christians

But God ordained marriage and only wanted children birthed from marriages and even though illegitimate are loved by God there are always consequences and struggles these children go through.
There is also a curse that can affect illegitimate kids.

With so many kids being born out of marriage is this a major reason why more and more kids seem to have increasing struggles with suicide, depression and other psychological illnesses.
Yes I know it has always been there and even Christian kids suffer but it must have a cumulative sin affect on society

Is there a correlation with illegitimate kids and Gods judgement in the last days as there will be more Illegitmate people alive at that time then any other era of earths history.

Of course the sin is by the parents but we know that their sin will affect the next generation

Illegitimate children, is that when someone is born or conceived before their parents got married ? Is it when their parents are living together throughout someone's childhood and aren't legally married and yet they remain faithful to each other ? There are many versions.

Is it the classical case where the mother has sex, gets pregnant, the father is either not known or refuses to have anything to do with the child and its upbringing ?

Is there a real difference between these scenarios and when everything is legitimate just the couple divorced before the child was born, before the child got to know the father etc ? What if the mother then sleeps around or lives together with a new man or even marries a new man who doesn't want anything to do with her child except that he lives in the same house ?

It seems to me that there are very many other factors beyond the technical "illegitimacy" of a child that would affect it. The idea that God would somehow judge a child based on its "illegitimacy" and nothing more than that is totally ridiculous. Like Femme said, there are illegitimate parents (according to many different definitions) and an innocent child may have to suffer for that since it depends on its parent(s).

I suggest you explain it more precisely then. Neither one of us is a mind reader.

I suggest you use common sense and stick to the basic meaning of illegitimacy instead of making up silly scenarios if you can't do that then don't bother replying again

I've been doing nothing else than trying to expound on the possible scenarios, not knowing exactly where you are going with this. None of the scenarios are silly, they all reflect real life situations that children find themselves in. I really don't know what fits and what does not fit your definition of "illegitimacy" either. There is no need for that kind of hostility that seems to be based on the notion that I have some sort of agenda with what I wrote and that is not the case.

There have been studies done that prove if a child has a stable father figure in their life (could be a grandfather, uncle, etc. ), they do just as well as children in married families. So, maybe what you are talking about are children raised by a single parent and you can leave the offensive labels behind.

I wouldn't find the label offensive if I got a precise definition for it. As it is right now I really don't know which one of the three to four possibilities I discussed in my first post is the correct one, especially when attempting to discuss how God relates to the parents and/or the child involved.

Colonel : Illegitimate children, is that when someone is born or conceived before their parents got married ? Is it when their parents are living together throughout someone's childhood and aren't legally married and yet they remain faithful to each other ? There are many versions.
Is it (only) the classical case where the mother has sex, gets pregnant, the father is either not known or refuses to have anything to do with the child and its upbringing ?

    What offensive labels?

When God created Adam and Eve he married them BEFORE they had children. There is a spiritual reason for this as well as for the good of society....if people want to get offended by this then take it up with God who calls children born out of marriage illegitimate

Btw everyone goes to hell who doesn't know Christ which is far more horrific than being born illegitimate so if people are going to get offended with me over this topic then they need to stay out of this thread.
