Thread: Photobucket Is Holding Your Photos For "Ransom"

I've used pbase for over a decade. Costs me $23 a year.

I had this on photobuckets and it displays okay. I don't understand computers at all. I don't know what you mean by third party. Is LFF a third party?

yes, LFF is a 3rd party.. when I got hit with that pic I started a hunt, and I emailed PB.

You can store bunches and bunches of photos there.. but when you want to link them, you have to move them to a different site. (or just on your computer)
I haven't decided what I'm going to do.. and I am looking for a new place.. so thanks for the Imgur suggestion.

When Woffie took ALL the databases and claimed them as his own, even stating that all pictures posted were now property of CCF, I went into photobucket and deleted everything I had ever posted on the forum, so I don't think I have much left on there, as that was the only reason I ever opened a photobucket account.

K ... I just checked and there are pics from my daughter's wedding, that likely had to have been scanned to get them on there and a handful of miscellaneous ones. So I guess I'll want to grab the wedding pics.
