The church is waaay to loose in regards to divorce, no better than the world, a bad meal can be grounds (half-kidding).
But extremes should not exist on the other end either.

My last response. Quest....I have taken the time to explain to you, in very explicit terms, what happens when women live by the letter of the law, according to Quest's interpretation of the bible. I have taken the time to explain what kind of culture arises out of your belief system. Now to further explain, culture is not living godly, and culture does not only encompass Believers. When I use the term, "American culture", I'm not talking about Christianity or the bible, at all.
So, culture and belief has nothing to do with being a Believer, or even divorce, at all.
Your view and a strict adherence to your view, gave rise to women becoming bitter. It is the truth. It is what it is. Sanger's voice was loud and strong because women were forced to have a busload of children, with men that abandoned them, and left them destitute and in poverty. Again, your trite speech about bitterness is cold, calculating, and disengaged from reality. My grandmother didn't seem to have a bitter bone in her body. She was warm, loving, honorable, read the Word for an hour every day, seemed to have a special way with animals (not just her parakeet, but she could get squirrels to eat out of her hand....literally). She was awesome!
Thing is....your robotic-sounding responses simply do not address in specific terms, what I said. I honestly think it's because you can't. You'd rather keep quoting scripture. But that's ok.....I need to get offa this thing. Be blessed, sis.:godisgood:
