I'd rephrase the question.
Quest, have you ever been beaten by any of your husbands ?

wow, you guys need to cut that out.
I asked an honest question.
I was beaten by my husband.
Should one just let someone beat them stupid in order to remain married?
Very good question if you ask me
Had a friend once who was beaten by her husband , beaten by her husbands sisters , was subjected to marital rape and insults of every kind ..
She went for counseling at her church and they told her according to the same line of reasoning Quest utilizes , well Jesus said no Divorce..
I hate to say it but some of the folks that gave that counsel were my own family members

The second greatest accomplishment of Rejoice Marriage Ministries has been to witness couple after couple whose hopeless, dead marriages have been restored, even after divorce.
Charlyne teaches you to listen to God for His direction. Only He will have all the right answers every time. A person standing with God for marriage restoration needs to be talking to Him in prayer. Only God can truly convict a wayward spouse to come home, to have their heart transformed, to stay home and to be a faithful spouse, with every family member serving the Lord. Your day-to-day instruction needs to come from the Holy Spirit alone.
Would even go a step further. Assuming that your first marriage didn't end on the basis of adultery , would you consider going back to your first husband ??
If the verses you have been holding on to religiously are anything to go by, Any post divorce marriage if not based on adultery would be considered perpetual adultery . No ?
