    The kids who got the vaccine were "ten times more likely to die from the vaccine" in the two months following the vaccination, than those children who did not receive the vaccine.

    Hmmm. The probability of dying from the vaccine is zero for those who do not receive the vaccine. Ten times zero is zero so the probability of dying from the vaccine for those who did receive the vaccine is consequently zero.

    Child mortality is quite high in Africa so if the general mortality increases tenfold from having the vaccine there would be an outcry from Cape Town to Cairo. Half the babies would be dead within two months. Or something in that vein. They would surely notice without doing any research on the matter.
