What if your friend's wedding was to his or her pet and the wedding was legal ?

I know exactly what I'd do. And why hope you wouldn't be put in that situation? It wouldn't bother me at all to explain clearly and in love why I wouldn't attend.

Not throwing rocks at anyone here - You guys know I LURVE ya, but ...

I am amazed and saddened by how Christians will compromise their very core beliefs when it comes to Family & Friends.

I have a dear BFF who has been saved (like me) for almost 35 years and she took her teenage daughter (years ago) to get an ABORTION - She didn't tell me this, but a mutual BFF of ours was shocked and confided in me...

And that same daughter is now shacking up with her Babies Daddy, and has been for a few years now.

My girlfriend says she doesn't like it, but her daughter is 40 years old and she can't "make her" live for God.

Sooooo, she is silent and goes along with her child's sinful living arrangements, because she doesn't want to offend her daughter and boyfriend and she wants to be involved in her grandchildren's lives.

Personally i think it's more of a female thing. Women (NOT ALL ) generally seem to be more inclined to let their feelings and emotions takeover in matters of this nature hence its no surprise that proponents on this matter have been mostly women .

I presume that Monkfish is a dude but he is a liberal dude anyway and most liberal dudes are pretty feminized in their thinking :)

Let's not pretend that any kind of a heterosexual arrangement is anywhere near as sinful as a homosexual marriage. The latter doesn't normally produce kids that are then someone's innocent grandchildren, either.

You'd probably be disappointed. Then they'd make you the best man on the spot and you'd have to give a speech about the goldfish.

I know exactly what I would do if ever confronted with the situation. I will follow the words of my Lord:

Luk_14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Personally my aim is to please Jesus and not my family members, including my children. I owe Jesus everything and I owe my children NOTHING! I have raised them, fed them, clothed them, loved them, taught them, protected them, and blessed them in every way I could. If after all that I have taught them and done for them if they still choose to go against God's will they will have no support from me.

Furthermore, my wife and children will be the first to tell you that God is first.
