Matthew 10:37
"He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." (KJV)
As much as I love my (three) sisters, if one of them decides she is gay and proceeds to marry another woman, I would not attend the wedding or send a gift... I wouldn't even "Wish them well," because that would be a subtle and indirect acceptance and blessing of their union.
However, I'd travail in prayer even more for her salvation and deliverance.
SIDE BAR: When my youngest sister was dating (her now ex-husband), they were planning to visit us, but Hubby and I made plans to drive across the county line, so we could say we would not be in town on that date. Why? Because we only had one spare bedroom, and we didn't want to facilitate them fornicating under our roof.

OR... it may have been better to tell them your view on sleeping together without being married and we don't care to have that in our house... the may complain, but they will respect you more for at least standing for your principles versus creating a situation to avoid having to make that stand.
I don't think Christians should be scared to make a stand for what is right. They may not like it, but they will at least respect that they are being told what you believe. Just a thought.

Technically they weren't lying since they were "out of town", but it would be better to just tell them "no, we don't allow fornication up in our crib"... and then turn on some Christian rap

You know, I really wrestled with how to deal with it - She knew Hubby and I were living a holy lifestyle, so I didn't want to "compromise" what she called our "religion."
I felt the least offensive tactic would be to say we're "unavailable" and thereby not come across as judgmental and unloving.
Now, this same sister is the one who got SAVED for real 5 years ago, and she's on FIRE for the Lord!!!
I know God answered my prayers, and I believe He gave me wisdom on how to handle that situation.

There is no such thing.
There are only pretend gay marriages.

Going forward we will see the world try to hijack Christianity and will start telling Christians what is right and wrong... which is already happening.
It's the one world religion rising.

but, legally binding pretend marriages.
(although, I do agree, they are not "marriage" in God's view)
