Ditto! - (She said in her sweetest and most loving voice ever)...:iloveyou:
I can still love the person, but I will not attend - My attendance would mean I accept, agree with and condone your homosexual lifestyle and wedding.

I don't agree that attending a same sex marriage puts a "Gee, this is FABulous" stamp of approval on it.
I look at it the same way I do when my daughter was pregnant and not married.
I had 2 choices.. love and support her or abandon her.
I chose love and support.
And, I think it's a bit of a stretch to equate a same sex marraige and satanic rituals.
You guys seem to keep forgetting that we're the minority in this.. the World keeps telling people that it's all fine and dandy… not just OK but GREAT! Nonbelievers are never, ever going to think same sex anything is not a problem.
Although, I would never try to convince anyone to go. If you're not comfortable, better not. (Not that I'd be uber comfortable.. no.. )
For a born again christian the answer can only be NO. I would not go and countenance wickedness and watch the weirdos smooch each other. No Way!

I don't see those two comparisons as the same at all...
Now if your daughter decided to shack up with her boyfriend, would you attend the housewarming with gifts? That's a little closer to an accurate comparison.
Supporting an pregnant daughter does not at all equal agreement with her behavior that caused the problem..it is assisting her in moving on from a past sin.
