I, personally, would never believe just because it *might* be truth.
I had to be fully convinced it IS truth.

Well, if us Christians are wrong, then no big deal. If the atheists are wrong, there is hell to pay. Literally.

Rather than us deciding upon belief in God or finding God, God is the one who finds us. What to do when convicted by the Holy Spirit of the reality of the things of the gospel ? Count the cost. What is the cost ? The Holy Spirit in return for our trash and in the end eternal life. One may decide that the value of wallowing in the trash is greater than all the rest but how sensible is that ? The real value of trash is and remains zero. The value of the Holy Spirit ? Unfathomable.
