10 Second "Ice Cream" In High Speed Blender

As most of you know, I have a Nutri Ninja. My son has a Nutri Bullet. I use my NJ pretty much every, single, day. One thing that I knew you could do with a Vitamix was make an "ice cream" (you could use frozen yogurt or whatever you wanted as the dairy). So I decided to use the same principles and apply it using my NN, but I use coconut cream (not coconut MILK). I just basically use frozen fruit and a cup or two of coconut cream, some stevia or stevia flavored liquid extract, maybe some vanilla or cinnamon. I hit blend and will get awesome, healthy, soft-serve type "ice cream" in literally a few seconds flat. Sometimes I have to unscrew the lid and tap it a few times to get all of the frozen fruit blended properly.

So I figured some of you might not know about this, but it is awesome, and you control all of the ingredients....you do have to use frozen fruit. Otherwise, it doesn't work.

I have been using that blackberry/ginger balsamic vinegar on it, along with the cherry flavor I just got a few days ago and I'm blown away by the flavor it adds.

You can use any high speed blender, but it does have to be a very powerful unit. My NN is 900 watts. I do have an expensive, high-speed blender (Omega), but I don't use it anymore, as the NN is ten times easier to use and does pretty much the same thing.

I've got a Magic Bullet, wonder if that would work.

Catchy, you said you use your Nutri Ninja every day, what else do you make with it?

I use it to make salsa, tampenade, or a protein shake. With the protein shake, I'll use the NN to first crush pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds. Then, I'll add Sun Warrior protein powder, some cinnamon, and some fruit, and make a great protein shake. I found that if I mixed it all together at once, I'd have to run the NN very long in order to crush all of the seeds first, and it would get warm. IMO, Sun Warrior protein powder is the best tasting, and best on the market...dairy free also.

Krys, you could definitely give the Bullet a try. Wouldn't hurt, I'm sure.
