You're going to spend your days in heaven as a sinful, unholy creature covered by the blood of Jesus so that God can't see what you're really like ? There is no complete, full salvation ?

Nope, you will be sanctified through and through and you will be completely conformed to the image of Christ Jesus when you are in heaven. You aren't that right now so something will have to be changed.

I also want to make it clear I'm not saying a believer doesn't sin. Here's how I deal with it. First, my attitude in life is that I live as a forgiven man. There is no sin God has charged against me that has not been covered by the blood of Christ--and that includes future sins too. However, when I do sin, I don't just blow it off because it's forgiven. I agree with God that I have sinned and then I thank Him for the fact that that sin has been atoned for. I agree with God (which some might say IS confession), then I just appropriate the forgiveness that is already mine and move forward without guilt.

Another illustration that might help is to compare this with divine healing. Although it's not wrong to ask God to heal you, wouldn't you tell a sick person that their healing was provided for in the atonement and they can accept their healing as already operative and walk in restored health? In other words, our healing is already ours. Paid for. Done deal. We just appropriate healing as part of the atonement. Well, forgiveness of sin is the same way. We can walk in perfect forgiveness every day because the remission of our sins was in the atonement. Oh, and by the way, another comparison is with the "old man." Do we ASK God to put the old man to death? No. We "reckon" the old man as already dead because the death of our old man was also part of what happened at the cross. He died and we died in Him. He rose and we rose with Him. It's already finished. We don't need to ask God to do away with our old man; He's already done that. We just need to walk in the newness of life every day. So it is with forgiveness. We walk in total forgiveness, agreeing with God when we do sin and appropriating the forgiveness that is already ours.

Bookie first let me commend you and I say this honestly as I respect your relationship with God
You have a personal walk where you are sensitive to God and desire to please him and are very quick to acknowledge if you do something wrong or offensive.
By your comments you are walking in righteousness and the cleansing blood of Christ

Bookie it would be great if every believer walked like you but they don't. There are many who live their lives haphazard and need discipling and to learn truths they can hold onto that will help them.

Whether we like it or not...believers are getting deceived into thinking they can live a certain way and have automatic cleansing of every future sin - we cannot live in denial this isn't the case. Paul writes and addresses the importance of all this

In regard to getting into heaven with 1 tiny little sin...you are confusing saved saints with unbelievers - there is a difference
You haven't brought up any clear specific scriptures but your own personal theology as to why future sins have to be automatically forgiven

I have given scriptures which you don't explain - Apostle John says it in black and white. Apostle James says it

He knows our works, but He judges the heart. His heart wasn't right with God.
