2Kings2v11As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. 12Elisha saw this and cried out, "My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!" And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two

    Seems quite conclusive!

The verse says absolutely nothing at all against people in the OT being born again.

You just skipped everything I said about the verse in two moves, I've seen that debate tactic before. Please go back to the original post where I discussed that and try again :

Sure it does. If Jesus is the first born from the dead, then naturally those OT saints who came before Him could not have been, or else He would not actually be the first born.

    Seems quite conclusive!
Your reasoning depends upon equivocating on the term "heaven" to work, consequently it doesn't.

Here's a question. We know that the Bible says that the New Covenant has "better promises" than the Old Covenant.

    1. What to you are those "better promises" of the New Covenant?

    2. Do you believe that the Old Covenant saints had Jesus living in them?
