Has studying them inspired change in you?

Let's call some of it being stretched with great force, though not like the three times during the last 25 years when I have met God very powerfully. Also, there is always something to continue pondering on.

My BIL great grandmother received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1906 at the Azusa street revival.they called her Grandma Great. william Branham was really big in that area and many of them became what is known as "Branhamites" in later years. A lot of them moved to Phoenix to avoid the big earthquake that was supposed to cause Southern California to fall into the ocean

Thanks, I wasn't sure of the details. I've never heard of any one connected to someone who was there. I read a great book about Azusa Street a couple of years ago but I don't recall the name of it.

Do you think Branham became the main guy for the Oneness Pentecostals and then they were rendered unable to see where he was heading ?

A photo of Smith Wigglesworth at the Angelus temple in 1927 praying for a sick child. Notice the same script on the rounded wall that can be seen in the photo of Aimee Semple McPherson in the thread in the bookworm forum.

I'll have one more go at that one after a six month journey with this.

The stories are real, in general. The journey to figuring out why they are real in the sense that it did happen amounts to awesome revelations of what it takes to make it real again, both at the individual and also at the collective level.

God is not a respector of time periods nor of geographical regions. It can and it will be real again.

Eph 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
