I'm an old member but "been too busy" to post here for a long long time! I'm about as far south in Texas as you can get tonight in Portland, Tx. Just over the bay from Corpus Christi. Visiting my daughter's family for one of our grandsons third birthday and the celebrate Christmas with them. This is about an 8 hour drive from our town in West Texas.
I think it was about 82degrees here today. The kids had a "jumpy house" on the driveway all day for the birthday party. Fun was had by all! Temp is 74 now. Cold front blowing in! Ugh!

I just realized my password was "remembered" on my iPad but I have no idea what it is. LOL. If I can remember it I will put it in my phone so maybe I could come here more often. We spend a lot of time on the road these days because our girls live too far away from us. Thankfully, they like for us to visit them and it's easier for us to travel the long way...still not sure what to do about my password. Any suggestions?

Joy, try logging in with what you think the password might be and if you fail after 5 attempts the software will send you an email and give you prompts on how to reset it.

I got the email but it doesn't tell me to change my password. Just that someone tried to log in five times from a certain IP address.

First, it's really GREAT to see you here! You have been missed! And I haven't seen much from you or your DH on FB... I'll have to go to your pages and "like" some stuff so you start showing up again!

And second, our cold front brought temps in the low teens F and the wind chill took it into the -30sF and just about hit that equal mark where C & F meet -40F/C ... but not quite, this time. We had a warm front move in last night and now we're hovering right around freezing for a few days, and that brings snow and icy roads!

But Christmas is next weekend and I have a KAZILLION things to do yet!!! Oh my gosh, I'm so behind this year! And disorganized.

    Merry Christmas!

Well I usually post some Scripture and commentary on my Facebook page....

    2 Corinthians 4:6
For God who said , "Let light shine out of darkness," made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of knowledge of god's glory displayed in the face of Christ.

There was darkness in the heart of man...but Christ, who was the exact image of God, brought to man the light of knowledge of God.

    John 1:5
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

    ....
True in the physical realm but oh so true on the spiritual level. Darkness (evil) will never overcome the light (Gods love). Our eyes are opened....enlightened...
