Do you take the Lord's supper at home?

When my husband came home after four months in the hospital and successful lung cancer surgery we started to take the Lord's supper every day and have done so for four months. Every morning at breakfast we remind each abaout the fact that "This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it" before we share wine and bread. We have shared how the body of the Lord was broken for us and how He was beaten wth or diseases and how His blood is the sign of an eternal, unbreakable covenant. It is good to praise the Lord in the morning (Ps. 92) because it sets the tune for the day and it has been a wonderful encouragment to us. Also we have seen how quickly he has recovered. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness, strength and comfort!

I have done so in the past, but not recently. I found it to be very beneficial.

I have, but not in a long time. I used to do it when I got up to consecrate my day and judge myself of any sin, and set my thinking on pleasing the Lord that day and focusing my faith on His benefits and who I am in Christ. Thanks for the reminder.

My wife and I have been doing this for the last 9 years. Its a wonderful testimony to constantly "proclaim his death" at the start of each day.
Its great to find others doing it.

We also pour the wine out on the ground outside the door as a testimony that the death Of Jesus didn't just redeem us for heaven, but redeemed the whole of creation and our land (UK) from what Adam did.

Frequently as we drink the wine, we raise the glass in the air and call out loud, "Satan, and all you demons, you witness this, we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus poured out for us, the blood that overcomes and defeats you!"
