There's nothing wrong with a pastor being educated at a sound, Holy Spirit led school. Formal education or none, being filled with, taught by and led by the Holy Spirit is what is most important. Relationship with Him.
Not a pity party invitation, just my experience:
I had an opportunity to attend a Pentecostal Holiness high school, a life time ago. Our msog pastor discouraged it as I would have too much teaching that I would have to "unlearn". So, I attended my big city hs with 2,000 + students and spent four years as the lone ranger so to speak. Wouldn't want to re-live it for anything.
