The greatest move of God will be in the denominational churches. Even today it has more GENUINE power than all those weird Churches on the outside that is made up of church splits. I have been in many and preached in them but found them wanting in genuine moves of God. Most wayward churches I was in were churches that were trying to have a revival generated by their own devisings. It won't work. Many who have scattered will come back when the final day of revival comes. I am so glad I am in the true church, a denominational church, where God will catch away His Bride.

I can, it's "the Word" and "the scriptures". I'm not asking you to find that exact word, denomination, just the corresponding word or concept.

1 Corinthians 3
4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

In the past the greatest moves were outside the denominations and then denominations were formed out of them, which of course killed the moves.

This is a great scripture. It reveals the very reason that people leave the church and run off to to start their own little groups. They set up their own bunch of like minded believers and think they are biblical. Not so. The bible is full of the scriptures that speak of Unity and the denominations provide a place of untied believers. The Word denomination is found in the word church. God does not approve of everytime someone gets a burr under their saddle they run off with a few people from the church and start a little group that most likely will last only a few years with a dozen people in it. No the denominations are the finger prints of God. They were born out of revivals and they are born of God. They are the Bride of Christ and it is a dangerous thing to speak out against the Bride.
I do not believe in denominationalism but I believe in denominations. All these "independents" dotted all over town are a testimony of disgrace to the Christ we serve.

Let's see how the original Holiness "denomination" reacted to the Pentecostal revival :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holine...Pentecostalism
During Azusa Street Revival (often considered the advent of Pentecostalism), the practice of speaking in tongues was strongly rejected by leaders of the traditional Holiness movement. Alma White, the leader of the Pillar of Fire Church, a Holiness denomination, wrote a book against the Pentecostal movement that was published in 1936; the work, entitled Demons and Tongues, represented early rejection of the tongues-speaking Pentecostal movement. White called speaking in tongues "satanic gibberish" and Pentecostal services "the climax of demon worship"
I don't need to tell you how the other denominations reacted to early Pentecostalism.
I should be surprised that a classical Pentecostal like yourself chooses to ignore his heritage when addressing the Charismatic revival. I should be surprised but I am not. People originating from one move of God have always persecuted the next move of God. An example is Martin Luther who agreed to the murder of adherants of the next revival, that of the anabaptists. The main difference was that the anabaptists practiced water baptism of believers whereas the Lutherans practiced infant baptism like the Catholics whose faulty doctrine they claimed to have departed from.

I see no argument here. God used denoms to spread the pentecostal message. EG, Church of God and Pentecostal Holiness. The great Ag denom was born out of Azuza and has reached millions for Jesus. Some people get mad at a church and end up condemning the whole denom. They are independents who want their own way and are unwilling to come under authority. I see that spirit at work right here on this forum. It is the "I am right and everyone else it wrong." Hasn't this forum split already?!
You need to get under a good pastor and work in a good denom that you feel right about and join us. We are the army of God!
Stop being so all fired bull headed and allow God's servants to teach you something in the local church!!!! Get biblical!!
