I appreciate that..may I ask how you view these passages? Do you believe Paul is addressing a legal interpretation of the Sabbath?
What did Jesus men when He addressed the criticism of the Pharisees regarding gathering food on the Sabbath? Wasn't that a direct violation of Leviticus law? When God gave Manna He forbade gathering it on the Sabbath...He required all food preparation be made pre Sabbath...

I would like your take on this?

Since I do not agree that God cancelled everything that many Christians call "The Old Testament," I do not think it is necessary to repeat everything revealed by God before the Advent of Jesus on earth. The "New Testament" is not a repudiation of everything that was revealed previously but rather it offers continuation and explanations/revelations. Failure to put the whole Bible into a single faith system is denial of God's nature and sovereignty. Fortunately, the whole of scripture is given so that mankind can have a faith based relationship with the Almighty. None of the "Works" provide salvation. All of the works must be acts of love to have any value and that value is the deepening relationship with the God of Israel; a very worthy goal.
