    Speaking of transhumanism

People tend to assume that human beings will eventually change themselves by incorporating technology or changing their genes. An other form of transhumanism is becoming quite advanced and is creating a new "breed" of human beings even though it isn't genetically transferrable. Meaning it is a fact right now, not in some laboratory but out there on the street. It involves anabolic hormones, it is dangerous and probably reduces the lifespan per default but it works.

People have abused anabolic steroids to get bigger muscles since the 1950s or so. Growth hormone since the 80s or so. Bodybuilders started abusing insulin during the early 90s. All of it is becoming mainstream among hardcore adherants as we speak. Insulin abuse is extremely dangerous, one faulty administration may cause insulin shock and death and they typically do this several times every day. But they can do it without being extremely knowledgable. Thorough, prolonged abuse also creates a hormonal mutant that is a lot more monstrous than any amount of anabolic steroids will produce. The body is changed, the psyche is changed. They may become extremely good at hiding it all when they are part of a hardcore community. Apart from getting caught red handed, that is.

God told me to watch some video I spotted on youtube yesterday where they pit different types of "athletes" against each other in strength battles. He showed me both the version where I would see straight through the guy and see how perverted he had become both physically and mentally and also the version that the abusers and would be abusers teach each other to "read". I saw the latter version very clearly, he sort of looked "normal" and a non-user would look abnormal in relation to that. They brainwash themselves to see things that way, where they are enhanced and it is a "good" thing and the lesser humans are weak. Some of these guys are three to five times as strong as an average adult man, literally.

This is a form of transhumanism and it is real. There is a lesser version of it among people who "merely" abuse anabolic steroids, they sort of become their own category. The fact that the world in general frowns upon them and sees them the same way they used to see gays just means they congregate harder and create their own subculture where things look like the upsidedown version of the way the world sees them.

If you think about it, carrying hundreds of pounds of extra flab probably causes as many problems as their stuff does, to your body. But probably not to your mind and to your attitude in relation to yourself and others.
