Would you be alive if there had been no fall of Adam? If so, please explain how that would happen, given the no-doubt many sinful events in your lineage (and mine) that eventually led to your birth.

I don't think you see how God uses tragedy (uses, not causes) to accomplish His will. God was not pleased with David's sin with Bathsheba, but the result was Solomon. Was it God's Plan A for Solomon to exist? Solomon, who was in the lineage of Jesus. I say yes it was God's will for Solomon to exist, and yet that admission does not make God the condoner of David's sin. Was it God's Plan A for Job to be utterly destroyed by Satan so that he could be restored to an even greater place? I say yes. God was not the direct cause of Job's tragedies, but God worked those tragedies into what I believe was His Plan A for Job.

Bookman, have you even read the thread ? As discussed previously, you are not your body, you are your spirit. Your spirit is the same irrespective of who your parents are or what your lineage is.

Yes. I was getting back to Oz's original notion that had Adam not sinned, none of us would be here. And yet not attributing the fall or the sin of Adam to God.

And exactly why would God be unable to breathe my human spirit into any human body he pleases ?

I don't know. Nor do I need to know. My point is that He did it using the fall of Adam for His own positive purposes. And for that, we should be thankful.
