That's basically the question I asked you, what is it that they should have done in that specific situation ?

Anyone willing to comment on this:
At fbi-director-comey-believes-black-lives-matter-is-driven-by-anecdotes-and-not-data we read "Comey argued that the United States does not have enough information about police use of force against black people to have an intelligent discussion about it."
And the video says that after research the researcher determined (amongst other things) that "Police Officers were LESS likely to shoot unarmed blacks than unarmed whites" and that "In Houston he found that BLACKS were 24% LESS likely than whites to be shot"

Here's one more video (my last I hope) of police using excessive force via taser and pepper spray. I'm with them until they taser the suspect and use pepper spray on his 84-year old mother.
It's another case of police officers not properly subduing suspects and using unnecessary overkill.

Interesting...while I do not believe cops always make the best decision, I do believe most try to...I read somewhere that the FBI is now working to compile a national database of information for comparison to get a 'picture' of what is really going on...I believe this is a great idea...but as I type this it occurs to me that unless Trump wins the election that plan could fall through a crack or be skewed for political gain...It would be even better if this study was done by some independent group who could compile nationwide data...this may be in pockets that have some significant factors that could point to a solution..
I also believe president Obama awoke (or fueled some simmering) fear in blacks that was being healed by time and relationships with his racist remarks. Some who were moving past those fears suddenly were reminded that maybe they should be afraid...
