It's going to change. I expect a big shift politically, it won't be business as usual.

I think you are right, without a relationship with God, the whole cart crumbles. People can still make poor decisions with a relationship with God, yet still, a relationship with God is an absolutely necessary beginning.

I know most will not agree, but we must stop looking to the two parties for answers. Yes, I know that the national Democratic Party is pro-abortion, and the national Republican Party is anti-abortion. So the logic goes we must vote for Republicans to end abortion. I am afraid that ship has sailed. Democrats will still support abortion on demand, Republicans will still be pro-life, with most having the issue decided by the States. It would take a Constitutional amendment to end abortion, something that will not happen.

My point is that in the past this country had different political parties, and perhaps (alright, it is) time for change. If not new parties, take over the old ones. We must get career politicians out of office. The few who have done good also see the wisdom of term limits. It will be a hard fight because neither party will to do this, but change needs to happen. We need to return to the idea of government by and of the people, not special interests, business, labor, or politicians.

No, the GOP is only interested in anti-abortion rhetoric. Were they to settle the issue they would lose a block of support, this is why they always play the "pretend to fail" game.

They could have end-runned the supreme court long ago with simple legislation. They won't.

They count on that Nikos, that's why they'll never actually address abortion in a meaningful way.

I have found them to be very clear on the subject. As long as they are, I will vote for them. However, i will never vote for a pro-abortionist. Never!

3 co-sponsors! Yes, 3 co-sponsors. That should tell you all you need to know about the GOP and their willingness to actually do anything. They talk a game while campaigning and promptly abandon the issue after gaining office.

They need you to believe Nikos.
