The one thing I do wish restaurant owners would forbid it nose rings for anybody that works there. It just grosses me out to get served by a person with a nose ring. Or a nose ring in a restaurant period by any worker.

Especially when there's a buger on the nose ring!

Why is that, specifically ? Rebekah wore one.

Gen 24:45*“But before I had finished speaking in my heart, there was Rebekah, coming out with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down to the well and drew*water. And I said to her, ‘Please let me drink.’*46*And she made haste and let her pitcher down from her*shoulder,*and said, ‘Drink, and I will give your camels a drink also.’ So I drank, and she gave the camels a drink also.*47*Then I asked her, and said, ‘Whose daughter*are*you?’ And she said, ‘The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor’s son, whom Milcah bore to him.’ So I put the nose ring on her nose and the bracelets on her wrists.*48*And I bowed my head and worshiped the*Lord, and blessed the*LordGod of my master Abraham, who had led me in the way of truth to take the daughter of my master’s brother for his son.*49*Now if you will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me. And if not, tell me, that I may turn to the right hand or to the left.”
50*Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, “The thing comes from the*Lord; we cannot speak to you either bad or good.*51*Here*is*Rebekah before you; take*herand go, and let her be your master’s son’s wife, as the*Lord*has spoken.”

This has nothing to do with Rebekah. It's not about a nose ring in general. I will quote from my own post with emphasis:

And if I didn't like them in general, which now that you mention it I don't really care for them in general, what's the fact Rebekah wore one got to do with it? Because someone in the Bible wore one I can't think it's gross?

Because it's in the nose where there is snot and boogers and when associated with food it grosses me out. And when not associated with food, I just think it looks ridiculous, and I still think about the snot and boogers. lol.

Here God himself puts a jewel in someone's nose :

Ezekiel 16:9*“Then I washed you in water; yes, I thoroughly washed off your blood, and I anointed you with oil.*10*I clothed you in embroidered cloth and gave you sandals of badger skin; I clothed you with fine linen and covered you with silk.*11*I adorned you with ornaments, put bracelets on your wrists, and a chain on your neck.*12*And I put a jewel in your nose, earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head.*13*Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing*was of*fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. You ate*pastry of*fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly beautiful, and succeeded to royalty.*14*Your fame went out among the nations because of your beauty, for it*was*perfect through My splendor which I had bestowed on you,” says the Lord*God.

That's a positive in the culture of that time and place. Christians are often quick to take what was perceived negatively and make commandments out of that however.
