As far as not having the temperament to deal with foreign nations, have they paid attention to foreign leaders? Most are more like Trump and less like Obama. This is kind of off topic but I've noticed this in the pulpits too. I came from what they use to call "old line holiness" .The preaching was ROUGH. In fact, most people today would have a complete meltdown and probably call the local TV station if they heard some of the preaching when I was coming up

Now, much of it is slanted toward the Joel Osteen style, "your best life now" type of messages. Sometimes I just miss that straightforward honest style where they call sin sin (without being crude) and don't make any apologies for it.

Anyways, I just had to get that off my chest :)

If you are calling sin a sin... then those that don't want to give up their sin will always think it is crude and rude to call their sin... sin, no matter how you sugar coat it.

At some point it must be proclaimed that sin is in fact sin and it must be proclaimed that the soul that sins will die (Ezekiel 18:20, Romans 8:13)

Of course we should talk about walking with the Father, but what happens when we don't is just as much of the conversation... if it's not, then it's a false gospel because a partial gospel is a false gospel.
