DENVER -- NARAL Pro-Choice America President Ilyse Hogue said she doesn't believe there would be much middle ground between her organization and a Trump/Pence administration.
Hogue appeared on this week's Politics Unplugged with Anne Trujillo and Marshall Zelinger.
She says that when it comes to how this year's election will shape reproductive health policies,
NARAL is not only watching closely who wins the presidential race, but who they would name to the Supreme Court.
"The next president will have at least one, up to three, Supreme Court picks," Hogue said. "We have seen what an activist court can do. There is an opportunity to put justices on the highest court of the land who would uphold the law over their own personal ideology. This would not only affect that we know often goes to the court, but it would affect women's equality broadly. It would affect voting rights. And I think in order to move our country forward where we embrace diversity, where we understand what equal opportunity means, we have to have a court that supports good policy and this president will have that in the balance."
The blindness and hypocrisy is almost mind-numbing.
We have do what we can to stop this or we will be held accountable.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
(Ephesians 4:17-18)
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
(Psalm 1)
