Thread: This Sunday

I lead worship at our church once a month, and you just never know when God is going to anoint the service. This past Sunday my pastor told me that he wanted to mix things up a bit, and have us spend nearly the entire service in worship. I pulled the songs that really "spoke" to me...a soaking song by Eddie James, some old stuff by Lindell Cooley, etc. and I felt like I was hitting the ceiling all day. Now...another Sunday when I've pulled music that I think will minister, but I have no expectations, and I'm so overwhelmed by God's presence that I can hardly sing. bizarre.

I'm just praying there is no bizarre worship....

You'll be fine you got the talent now release it to the Holy Spirit...

In reality, you were listening to Holy Spirit speaking to you about which songs to use.

You (yielded vessel) + Holy Spirit (speaking and leading) = Anointed and Overwhelming Worship

It's a pretty simple equation and not bizarre at all .... it sounds like ya done good.

Ohhhhh, how I can relate - Happens to me (in our services) all the time - It's a GLORIOUS thing!
