World Vision manager funneled millions to terrorism?

-The Israeli government says millions of dollars in humanitarian aid sent to the Gaza Strip by the Federal Way-based nonprofit World Vision was instead diverted to the military arm of Hamas.

The allegations result from an investigation into World Vision's Gaza operations manager, Mohammed el-Halabi, who was detained June 15 as he crossed from Israel into Gaza. On Thursday, el-Halabi was accused of secretly using the aid money to benefit Hamas, the militant group that now controls the Gaza territory.

A statement released by Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called el-Halabi a "major figure" in the military wing of Hamas, and claimed that more than half of World Vision money sent to Gaza from Australia, the United States and other Western nations was "transferred to Hamas to strengthen its terrorist arm."

A statement from World Vision said its officials were "shocked" to learn of the charges and that the Gaza programs are subject to regular internal and independent audits...

...World Vision is a major Christian aid organization that is active in nearly 100 countries. Its global annual operating budget topped $1 billion last year to finance programs providing education, health care and child protection.El-Halabi, who is in his late 30s, has been employed by World Vision for more than 10 years in a number of roles. He has managed programs in Gaza that provide health, education and protection services for children, the organization said.

The Israeli allegations already are triggering donor repercussions. The Australian government announced late Thursday it was suspending its Gaza aid provided through World Vision until the investigation is complete.

"Any diversion of the generous support of the Australian and international community for military or terrorist purposes by Hamas is to be deplored," the Australian government said...

Seems even our tax dollars have helped give 'rewards' to terrorists who kill the most:

-With an indictment unsealed last week, Israeli investigators have sounded an alarm over the illicit use of global aid money to fund Palestinian terrorism. Prosecutors in the city of Beersheba allege that Mohammed El-Halabi, Gaza Strip director of the California-based charity World Vision, transferred tens of millions of dollars to Hamas to buy weapons and build underground attack tunnels. Although World Vision denies fault, the governments of Australia and Germany have halted donations pending investigations.

This revelation should spur a broader reassessment of American aid to the Palestinian government. For two decades the Palestinian government has used U.S. and other foreign taxpayers’ money to pay generous rewards to the families of terrorists. The deadlier the crime, the larger the prize, up to about $3,100 a month, or several times the average salary of a worker in Palestine’s non-terrorist economy.

Recall that 13-year-old Hallel Yaffa Ariel was murdered in her bed by a knife-wielding Palestinian in June. She was a dual Israeli-American citizen, making her the 11th American killed by Palestinians since 2014. Other victims include 18-year-old Ezra Schwartz, a student from Sharon, Mass., and 28-year-old Taylor Force, a West Point graduate and two-tour U.S. Army veteran from Lubbock, Texas. The families of the killers now receive regular payments from Palestinian leaders—funded partly by U.S. taxpayers...

Look, just make donations to Bridges for Peace and I can promise your money will be used for ministry and not for enriching the leadership or funding that is not clearly declared in the accounting. By the way, if you buy things on Amazon, consider joining Amazon Smile and a small amount of your money spent will be donated to the charity of your choice. Bridges for Peace in one of those charities. Amazon Prime and Amazon Smile are both valid at the same time.

More than a few of these aid and para-church/ministries are fronts for CIA.

Financing both sides of a war, or even creating wars where none existed is part of the game folks. Beware of church/world alliances.

Yes, the same thing that happened to ancient Israel is happening to the United States due to disobedience resulting in... God allowing our enemies to come in and destroy us.

If God does not judge this nation soon, He will have to apologize to sodom and gomorrah! His judge men is Gal 6:7,8 where He simply steps back and lets us go it alone since we have pushed Him out.

Just like ancient Israel, this nation refuses to repent therefore it is going down... it's just a matter of how soon.
