It's nice to go into a functional home where after meals the kids clean up their plates and take them to the sink, voluntarily choosing to do exactly what their parents want done. Homes where autocratic rule gets this done or where the kids are left to do as they wish are disfunctional.

Calvinism doesn't define God, He tells us what He's like.

The temptation Eve (and Adam) fell for was "you can be like God knowing right from wrong", the temptation people are falling for today is "you can be like God, you can be the one in charge".

OK, lets start you off with something small... see if you can use authority to stop all abortion in the US in the next 6 months. If that doesn't happen, we will know you are in unbelief.

God's Word does not teach that the Body of Christ will subdue the world as is taught in Kingdom Now teachings.

In fact, God's Word teaches that this world is headed straight for destruction (Great Tribulation)

Thank you. They also forget to realize that Job was already operating in fear and was accessible to satan already... but satan was too stupid to see it and was over there asking for God's permission. Job said what he feared came upon him, and he was right so Job tells us how all that got started.

Many also take the story of Job to say satan is able to go before the Lord to accuse people today which is false considering the Blood of Jesus has been placed before the Throne of the Father. Hebrews 9:21-23 sheds more light on this.

Yeah, satan hasn't been able to go before God's Throne since Jesus was raised from the dead. Now the devil stays busy accusing us of wrong doing to each other.

The body of Christ has the authority to do it, it just does not use it. Haven't you ever stopped the devil with authority in Christ ?If so then the body does have authority in a greater measure than it's using. One person alone cannot do it.
