There was a pledge to support not neccssarily endorse . He came to the convention told folks to vote constitution and consicence and not to stay home .. he also congratulated Trump by the way .. sounds like sufficient support to me

I like Charles Krauthammer and his commentary most of the time, however, I totally disagree with him in regard to Sen. Ted Cruz.

Concerning the Donald, I think many at Fox news saw the tide turning and jumped on board with Trump prematurely.

I think it will turn out to be like the man who saw a light at the end of the tunnel, .... he breathed a sigh of relief thinking the answer to his problem had arrived, ... only to discover the light was a freight train barreling down on him.

The people of America will discover too late that Mr Trump is the freight train and the results are going to be very unpleasant.

Ted's speech should have went like this..

Sometimes politicians get caught up in the moment and say things they regret...I have and so has Donald. But I love the Lord and He calls all of us to forgive. Donald is running for the highest office in our land and clearly many support him for that office. Tonight as a Christian and an American, I unite behind him to work with him to make America STRONG again..I would imagine Ted would have gotten a standing ovation...

His mistake was promising to "endorse" whoever the nominee would be.

He should have just said he would vote for the nominee and leave it at that.
