    Summer vacations

    Any plans this year? Where are you going to or did you go already? I'm in Michigan and a lot of my friends are posting touristy pics of day trip adventures. I have no plans for a long vacation this year but the touristy things are starting to appeal to me.

    We went to the NC Zoo Sunday afternoon, and got a year membership, so we have LOTS of day vacations in our future.

    We had plans for a Maran Ata summer conference for the fourth year in a row this week, but my husband's health issues got in the way

    I hope we'll be able to go to Greek in September like we've done for many, many years.

    It's beginning to look like I will get to have a "vacation" in August/September. Current plans include Florida, Missouri and Colorado mixed in with several weeks of meeting in those places as well as Chicago, Toronto and a road trip in the upper mid-west. I've already got "Platinum" status locked up on American Airlines for another year. Who knows? This may be another "Executive Platinum" year.
