Thread: Do you like fireworks?

Do you buy them, do you enjoying shooting them off? Do you have any favorites?

As the 4th of July holiday approaches a lot of fireworks have been going off already. I don't like to light them but I sure do enjoy watching them.

It isn't legal to have fireworks in OKC. We like to watch them and our kids buy them yearly. Their town allows them. I usually do a sparkler or two. Most years, we have just driven to a good vantage point and watched a public display from the car, though we have given that up.

At midnight on New Year's Eve, we step out on the porch and listen to them! Now that's excitement I tell ya!

not when my wife gets mad at me....

Love fireworks. We've been buying them for special birthdays and other events for a few years now. The kids are buying some for our 40th wedding anniversary in July!

Don't get the fascination with them - I feel as though if you've seen one, you've seen 'em all.
