Well, I never understood the "hugging controversy". My goodness, BAP, NY and NJ had just had the greatest natural disaster hit their shores since who knows when? I never gave it a thought but many people thought it was a sign of some sort of secret.....??? What? I dunno. Christie is still a bigmouth, and giving Obama a hug in a crises isn't a sign of great weakness, IMO, but whatever.
Secondly, did you and VW miss where I
specifically said:
OTOH, he's arrogant, crass, and a bit immature.
I don't need to keep explaining myself when I've been crystal clear, do I? I was explaining what was refreshing about Trump and the reason people are supporting him. And no, I don't recall ANY GOPers using terms like, "anchor babies" and the like. And trust me.....one of my closest friends is from Columbia, married to a Mexican. She will tell you point-blank that probably half of the illegals here are here to game the system (she even gave me the Spanish term for it, but I can't recall). She loathes the illegal immigration problem. Trump has made this front and center, and calls it what it is.
I watched an episode of Drugs Inc not too long ago and the cartel actually employ getting as many girls pregnant out of wedlock as humanly possible, specifically to have all of those, "anchor babies", and then play on the emotions of the American people, too stupid to even understand what the problem is in the first place. The literally said this on camera.
It is a HUGE issue, and Trump is the only one forthrightly addressing it and calling it what it is.
That is a big plus for most people who see this going on, right in our own country. The Democrats call it, "the browning of America", and it's a ploy to change this nation into Democratic voters infinitum. We are an INSANE country where the lunatics are running the farm. *That's* the issue, and will remain an issue for many people.
Trump is doing his part and raising awareness about many important issues, and hopefully the other candidates will get a clue.
