    Favorite summer movies

    We have a favorite Christmas movie thread so how about a thread for your favorite summer movies?

    I'll reach way back and start off with the original Gidget with Sandra Dee and James Darren.

    I love Galaxy Quest.

    I don't know if it qualifies as a summer movie, but it's definitely on my ReWatchOverAndOver list.

    As for "oldies".. any Katherine Hepburn/Cary Grant or Spencer Tracy works.

    Speaking of "Kate," one of her movies I like is in fact called "Summertime."
