It really is beautiful, thanks for the background story on it. So it only took you 40 years to use it!

Are you going to use it more now that its made its debut?
Thanks, Krystian...I have heard more stories about women who never use some of the lovely things they have had since they were married. I aim to use this set more and more, now. There's no use having some lovely things stored away!

Yes, I am planning on hosting a garden tea party this summer (last summers' plans were rained out), and I will take some pictures.

We have something green every day, or some times only grated carrots with lemon juice. Here's one of my favorites, for some reason or other we call it heart saladWhat did you make to eat today?-thzccrdl3r-jpg

I've made the cabbage soup twice now. Mr C loved it and requested it again. I thought it was really good. I cheated though, I used packaged slaw mix for the cabbage, and cooked it on the stove.

We had guests for dinner last night, so I made Stuffed Peppers, BBQ Chicken, Mac N Cheese, Yams, and Green Beans.

Also made a Chocolate Bundt Cake and a Pecan Pie.

    Dinner tonight? Leftovers!
