It was time...a pumpkin pie. :)

I made broccoli salad. The one with red onion, bacon, raisins & nuts with a mayo/vinegar dressing. I was just hungry for it.

I made a beef roast the other day, and there was some left over, so today we're having vegetable beef soup.

Speaking of which...do y'all add anything other than beef, veggies, beef broth, and tomatoes to your soup?

When we were visiting them a few days ago, my sil made an amazing veggie soup. One of the ingredients was creole seasoning. So yummy!

    I tend to experiment..

We were going to have Breakfast for Dinner tonight..

So, I had some chicken sausages.. (with apple and another with maple.. both YUM) and, of course eggs.. I'd toyed with a french toast with a brioche chocolate chip bread.. we'd done it before and it's very good..

But, I ended up getting a couple of sweet potatoes. I cut them up and put them in some coconut oil and butter.. started them browning. Then I added some apples cut up, some ginger bits and some pecans. Let that marry. Then, near being ready I put allspice, clove, cardamom and mega cinnamon.

    Turned out REALLY good.

Of course, since I didn't measure anything, not sure if I can exactly recreate it.

    Ah! but another experiment!!
