Oprah Winfrey Endorses Hillary Clinton for President
-Oprah Winfrey's with her.
The media mogul signaled her endorsement of presumptive Democratic party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in an interview that aired today on "Good Morning America."
The moment came when, referencing Winfrey's political activism on behalf of then-candidate Barack Obama, Spencer asked whether Winfrey would "get behind" one of the candidates in the current presidential race.
"I will get behind the one. I'm with her. I have to say I'm with her," Winfrey said.
"I'm With Her" is an official slogan of Clinton's presidential campaign.
But Winfrey wasn't done there. She added: "I would also say, that regardless of your politics, you cannot be a woman in the world and not see that this is a monumental time for women breaking the ceiling. Talk about breaking the ceiling!..."

Her mentor, the late Maya Angelou supported her as well when she ran against Barack Obama in 2008. No surprise. Hopefully Oprah won't suffer the same fate. IJS

Last night the news reporter said that Mrs. Clinton was a "devout Methodist." I know she's a Methodist, but devout? I've seen no evidence of that.

There will be a hundred million Americans thinking to themselves "oh she is like me, she pretends to believe in that and doesnt pretend to practice it." The identification factor brings in the votes. Okay, not a hundred million but maybe 50 ? 25 ? And as usual, the non-believers wont care about the blah blah version of "devout".
