Ohwaitaminute...maybe, just MAYBE they don't want negative press, which would then translate people questioning and leaving the church, and with that the $$$$
Maybe the church did. But you know the media today. You only get half stories. We haven't heard the whole story.

Maybe they don't believe they should have to defend their decision..maybe they don't want to bring stuff out that would hurt her or her family. It was not the church that brought all this to the WWW...My point was and still is, it's possible we don't know the whole story..if this church leadership was wrong they will give an account to the ONE who knows...

There is a way to clear the air that wouldn't be detrimental to the lady or her family, if the church is on the up and up. It doesn't matter to me who brought it to the WWW, maybe this was a way God used to get His people's attention in terms of questionable church practices.

You just cant believe that it could be anyone's fault but the Church. Yet you don't know that for sure. You don't have proof positive that the Church was at fault. You need to hear all the story first. THEN you can make your point, if you still have one to make.

That's exactly my point Nik, thanks for helping me make it

One "side" hasn't been fully heard, that is the church's.

Some churches are very rigid with their rules and make no exceptions. This sounds like the type of church that Nikos advocates when it comes to money?
This church is over the top with no mercy IMO (regarding tithe)

More conjecture. This has become a major problem here. Do you interpret the bible the same way. No wonder you don't believe in tithing. Jesus said it was good. That is enough. Why read more into it than is there?

Um, Pente said earlier he's a tither...go back and read his posts before insinuating, which you do a lot.
