She should pay her tithe, however, only if she has an income. I don't know the whole story, but she and her kin are making such a fuss, I think she must be loaded (rich). Makes no diff, she should get out and go somewhere else where she is happy. Unless,of course, she is a trouble maker and meaner than a junk yard dog. And she may, possibly, could be, I think. Now I am not sure, but she may enjoy breaking the rules. I had a few like that in my church. They used their age to break the rules and get by.

I can just see the news flash "granny admits she allocates her tithe to bingo night, agrees to pay her tithe three times the first year then twice the next two years as penance"

Just means they were being submitted to him, it's not a sign of deference or anything. In Jesus' case it simply meant that he now had work to do.
And your point is what ?
Learn to leave discussions within their setting please .
Curly sue asked a specific question about the scripturality of contributing money to a central body to then give out and I addressed her very specific point .
That does not mean I am against giving directly to a person or a cause if you are so led so why argue against a point nobody has made ?

This is ridiculous. First, Curly Sue did not say that it was unscriptural to give to a central body. This is what she said :
How about from my hand to theirs? Works amazingly well and no middle man needed.
Which doesn't exclude giving to a central body in addition to giving directly.
This is your reply :
You may also have to ask the apostles Paul and Peter why they insisted on being the collection agents for
all monetary offerings.
Which is what I countered by stating that evidence of their giving in such a fashion does not exclude their giving directly in addition.
If you can't keep track of either what others are saying or what you yourself are saying then that is not my problem.

The headscarf, maybe. The lady is at least pushing 80 and maybe 92!

Her calves look much younger but I'd say her entire body looks fairly young and strong. One can tell the effort she puts into pushing that car. She could well be something like my age, 43.

No you are wrong. I have an Aunt that looks every bit as young or younger than this lady. She is 82 and strong as the proverbial Ox. You would judge her younger if you are going by calves. I really never thought of considering the age on someone based on the calves. I think it might be inappropriate for a Holy Ghost filled minister who believes in holiness!!!
