Most of the churches have their membership standards. If you want to be a part of the fellowship then follow the standards. You don't have to be a member of any church to attend. I have been an ordained preacher for 58 years and I have never joined a church. The woman did not lose her soul or anything. If she don't want to follow the principles of the Word of God and tithe then she can still go and do everything.

They call it a "privilige" then it becomes a law with penalties imposed for not keeping it. All these terms they apply to it like "tithing in faith", "tithing as a privilige", "tithing out of a cheerful heart and without compulsion" all amounts to utter nonsense. This is proven by how they side with "the law" aka churches that extract tithes "or else", when they are given the opportunity to do so. It is easy for the flesh to side with the law and show no mercy as long as it can praise itself over always keeping that same law.

Only in Your imagination Fuego ...Not one of the Pro Tithe crowd has said anything about tithing NOT ONE !!!
Quit arguing against self erected strawmen please ..this is about meeting membership commitments whatever they may be and having ALL THE FACTS before judging and nothing more
Wasnt talking to you was talking to Catchy ... I am not interested in any long debate over the tithe ..
Yes you are right the debate is over the the approach and my position as with others is we dont have all the facts. It's you Catchy and Fuego whom have decied to make it a WITCHHUNT againt tithers ...
I can find something in the Bible about having one's membership in a church revoked on the basis of severe sin. I can not find something about that relating to failing to give money (according to any principle you can name) to that church.
