Good stuff.
And that is where I have come to. I just want to simply get back to the basics that we clearly see shown in Gods Word and then expect the same results that they did. I believe that if we are living the life that we are commissioned to live then our lives should look like a continuation of the book of Acts.

I feel the same way about the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Why would you get someone saved and then not get them filled with the Spirit? Complete the 'program'. Of course completing the program after that would be discipleship. Jesus did command us to make disciples, not make 'converts'. Of course you have to convert them to disciple them, but you don't stop with conversion.
That's what I was thinking..and the ten lepers..He sent them to the priest...only one came back to thank Him...

Quick question...if someone is healed by the Holy Spirit who can criticize the that as 'not of God' because there is no proper follow up? Seriously?

I find that concept absurd. If someone prays for someone and they are healed, who healed them? Does the Holy Spirit do what WE will or does He carry out the will of the Father?

Yes, believers may fail to continue to follow the Spirit in some type of follow up but not following up does not mean they were not Spirit led..

Did Jesus do evil or at in disobedience when He healed the ten lepers? Seems He expected THEM to follow up...

    Luke 17

11 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"

14 So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.

17 So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?" 19 And He said to him, "Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well."
