So, touch not my anointed, whether they be preachers or laymen. We're all God's anointed.
So why was Miriam and Aaron punished for speaking against Moses, since they were anointed too?

But, the pattern is very similar since God does not change so there are those in the Church that are anointed... and there are some who claim to be anointed on TV that are not.

In the Church we are created in the image of Jesus Christ, not Jacob. I'm sure he was a fine fellow, but for Christians it would be many, many steps down to consider themselves to be a descendant of Jacob rather than being created in the likeness of Jesus Christ.

This is why it's always hilarious when Christian preachers used to say "come on down and get a double portion of Elijah's anointing" Like why??? Jesus is greater than Elijah, so I would rather stick with Jesus.

Jesus said John the Baptist was the greatest prophet to ever live... and the least person in the Kingdom of God (in the Body of Christ) is greater then he is.

I have total respect for the nation of Israel... after all, Jesus is a Jew. But, there are some major differences with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus which brought forth the new birth which brought forth what the Father wanted all along... to be able to live IN His people.

In the OT He said He wanted to live among His people (Ezekiel 37:27 )... but in the NT He said He would live IN His people (2 Corinthians 6:16,17).

In the OT He could not live in His people because that would not even be possible until the new birth came in to existence... and Jesus accomplished that thru His death, burial, and resurrection.
God has not changed. He still chastises us when we miss it if we don't repent. Let's stick with the topic and not go off on tangents.

That's the old covenant. According to Jesus, John the baptist was greater than Moses, yet lesser than anyone who is born of God.

Mat 11:11 Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is*least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

The situation among those born of God is completely different to that of the old covenant :

Mat 18:1*At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2*Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them,*3*and said,“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.*4*Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.*5*Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.

Those who do not humble themselves and become like little children are the least in the kingdom of God. Those who want to be considered the greatest in the kingdom of God need to become everyone's servant :

Mat 23:11 But he who is*greatest*among you shall be your servant.

That includes you, Arelia. You need to get out of a lot of Old Covenant thinking and start thinking in terms of the New Covenant.

I love Benny Hinn. I went to see him in person, and I attended his online school of Signs and wonders. He is a blessing and I am so thankful
he is upon this Earth! God is the one who said touch not my anointed and he is the one who enforces it, is what I believe. Asking questions
or challenging something that seems wrong, for the sake of learning from the Holy Spirit is not touching God's anointed. His book, "Good morning
Holy Spirit" revolutionized my prayer life. Nobody is perfect. I think having areas we believe are in error is different than someone who is completely
messed up. Look at the fruit! Thousands upon thousands have more faith, because of what he preaches and does!
When we stand before Jesus, he is not going to ask what everyone else told you to do....
He is going to ask "what did I tell you to do?" Press on!
