When people say "cool testimony" it can mean a lot of different things including "you have an interesting background, most Christians are boring".

The irony was his testimony was powerful and pastors were asking him to minster by sharing his testimony and people came to hear him.....from the natural viewpoint you would assume that God would be 100% behind this as people were glorifying God for this wonderful salvation

The Teacher picked up in the Spirit that the enemy had gotten in and he was becoming too focused on his past...the student didn't obey and sure enough he succumbed to drugs

This is where the verse is applicable......'My thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways'
