Thread: My Motive for Wanting Trump to Win

  1. #11
Mr. Trump's positions have changed so much over the years, and even from day-to-day, that no one knows what he would do if he were elected.

In the past, he has advocated positions that are contrary to traditional GOP doctrine: 1) he has proposed high tariffs on imported goods, 2) he has said that American foreign policy should be less interventionist, 3) he has said that America should reduce its role in NATO, 4) he has proposed a wealth tax on the rich, 5) he has supported the bank bailout, the auto bailout, and Obama's stimulus package, 6) he has said that he's pro-choice, and 7) he has supported an aggressive application of eminent domain.

Some conservatives are saying they'll support Hillary over Trump, because her positions are less anti-GOP than Trump's !!!

Again, whether or not he would actually do any of the things he's promised if he were elected is anyone's guess. My guess is not!

Yes, that seems to reflect worldwide opinion that Trump is a populist and then who knows what will happen.

The typical leftist feminist media here favors Democrats and females so most things are flowery when it comes to Hillary. They also love American presidents that lean the same way they do so Obama is something of a political superhero with many. Maybe not as much as during his first term, though.
